Sleeping At Altitude In An Altitude Tent

Live high, Train Low

Sleeping at Altitude, or “Live High, Train Low” is the most widely accepted and common technique used in altitude training. Sleeping at altitudes exposes one to hypoxia, or low-oxygen air, at night. This is combined with physical training sessions at sea-level, during the day. This training regimen, first introduced bij Benjamine Levine and James Stray-Gundersen, makes altitude training all the more efficient.

Hypoxico’s altitude tent system

With the help of Hypoxico's altitude tent system, problems that occur with permanent residence at high altitudes, can be prevented. Problems such as limited training load in oxygen deficient air, muscle loss, immune system suppression, advanced dehydration and excessive fatigue are things of the past. Individuals can now safely and effectively take advantage of the benefits associated with exposure to hypoxia.
